Stainless Steel U Clamps

Stainless steel U-clamps, too often mistakenly referred to as U-bolts, are used for a different though similar function. While U-bolts are most commonly employed for clamping round objects and pipes, U-clamps are more specifically made, like the flat or square shape holding.

U-clamps are shaped similarly but have two bolt or screw holes inside, but are forged or made with a more rigid flat bottom. This enables the delivery of a solid, even clamping force over a greater surface area.

Similar to U-bolts, they are constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel to be utilized under hostile conditions. They are broadly applied in various applications from industrial equipment and automobile manufacturing to buildings and electrical systems. The inherent strength and environmental resistance make them a best bet for securely holding parts in position.
